Get involved, spread the word!
The NYCHA’s goal is to provide our youth with the skill set to be successful in the cutting industry and in life. Providing our youth with leadership and educational programs will foster great community leaders, industry professionals, and well-rounded horsemen.
Invested in your future!
More than $150,000 in college scholarships are awarded each year through a variety of scholarship programs and youth scholarship cuttings. The scholarships are awarded based on involvement in NYCHA activities, both in and out of the arena, academic achievements, and community involvement.
The NYCHA Leadership Team and Board of Directors carry the responsibility of representing the youth association to the membership, sponsors, and industry. They are responsible for implementing NYCHA programs at the local level, promoting the sport of cutting, and informing current and potential youth members about activities and fundraisers. The NYCHA Leadership Team is comprised of Senior regional directors, area directors, and both Junior and Senior officers.
