DESIRES ROLEX
Desires Rolex is a 2012 gelding owned by Amy Lippincott. Rolex has won 198K and 342 youth points. He had a successful show career while he was owned by Tyler & Lucchese Johnson, but Lucchese says that the special part of Rolex’s story is when he was purchased by the Lippincott’s. She said that Brinley and Rolex were a great fit from the start, and they would not have sold him to anyone else. Brinley and Rolex qualified for the Eastern Nationals Finals many times, were Reserve World Champions in 2021 and he helped her win the World Championship in 2023.
SLICK HICK
Slick Hick was a 1997 gelding owned by Terry & Catherine Pigg. Slick won 52K and 355 youth points. He is described as a never failing and reliable ride to the herd. A true gritty cow horse. He was known from coast to coast and made a huge impact on several cutting horse families. He was a finalist at the Eastern & Western Nationals many times, won the Rookie of the year award in 2007, two-time Reserve World Champion, two-time World Champion and he helped many youth riders win scholarships too. He was gentle and kind and gave confidence to everyone who showed him. He was loved by not only those who rode him but those who watched him too.
SPOOKYSTIMETOSHINE
Spookystimetoshine is a 2007 gelding owned by Ryleigh Ferrier. He won 125K and 316 youth points. He was originally trained by the great Gary Gonzalves and was given his barn name Spongebob by Gary’s children which was kind of comical when he was still a stallion. Spongebob has a huge personality with a long list of accomplishments that starts as an Open Futurity Finalist at the NCHA Futurity. He qualified for the World Finals and Scholarship Finals many times with several different riders. He was the Scholarship Champion with Ryan Rapp and helped Ryan win his Youth World Championship. Ryan told me that he won his first check on Spongebob and that he is the horse who taught him
how to win. I’d say that Spongebob understood the assignment and nailed it.
WEEPING WIDOW
Weeping Widow is a 2006 gelding owned by Bill Collier. Whipple has won 53K and 302 youth points. He is a 5-time World Finalist, a champion in Houston and San Antonio. He has won a Reserve World Championship and a World Championship too. Brea wrote an amazing letter of recommendation for this horse and I’m pretty sure every committee member needed Kleenex while they were reading it
