The NYCHA Junior President is a contested election. The candidates’ information is below.

My name is Adlee Marae Griffin. I am 11 years old from Pioneer, La and have been a NYCHA member since I was 3. I am the fourth generation to breed and raise cutting horses on our place. Cutting is my family’s way of life. I am and have always been very passionate about the cutting industry.
I am currently serving as a Junior Area Director for Area 14/Region 6. Through this leadership role, I have met new youth members and built relationships. Mostly, I became more involved in growing the NYCHA through my participation in the stallion auction, governance meetings, silent auction, and youth activities.
If elected as a NYCHA Officer, I intend to help youth members get more involved through opportunities such as the LEAP program and Out-Of-Arena contests. I will do my best to better inform youth of the opportunities. I hope to spread my passion for the NYCHA to others so they too can enjoy the experiences that I have.

Hi! My name is Trystan Crow and I am running for NYCHA Jr President. I have a strong commitment to NCHA and NYCHA as I have been an active member for four years and plan to continue for many more. Many of you know me and know that I am heavily involved in cutting; currently I am the Jr Vice President of NYCHA, a Priefert Jr Elite Team member, and an NRCHA member. I am very passionate about this organization and would like to see it grow. We have a fun group and it is time to expand. If elected I would like to collaborate with Rianna and the Sr Officer Team to expand cutting into other avenues of the Western Lifestyle like Jr High Rodeo. Our sport is top tier and deserves to be celebrated on multiple platforms. I want to be a part of this group to make new friends and together we can take cutting to new heights. I promise to put NYCHA first and lead to the best of my ability. I would appreciate your vote! Trystan Crow -In God We Trust

My name is Lily Bryan Eaves and I’m from Hartford, Alabama. I’m 11 years old and attend Alabama Virtual Academy. My love for cutting horses came from my family and I feel extremely blessed to be able to be involved in the NYCHA.

Hi, my name is Penelope Klimko. I am 11 years old and I am from Sugar Grove, North Carolina. Cutting has become more than just a hobby. It’s my passion. I love every part of it, from showing to all the amazing people I have met. Though I am still new to the sport, I want my drive to inspire other new youth to get involved.
I was not born into cutting, in fact, my parents just started doing it because they saw how much fun I was having! I believe this is has helped me see the sport differently. As the current County Music Cutting Horse Association Youth Director, it has allowed me to be more approachable as well.
I hope that I can always inspire people to cut, create more amazing opportunities, and make sure everyone always feels welcomed
The NYCHA Senior Reporter is a contested election. The candidates’ information is below.

Hey there! I’m Colburn LeDoux, and I’m tossing my name into the ring for the next Senior Reporter spot in this fantastic association. I’ve been part of the NYCHA for two years and I’m itching to dive deeper into the action! I’m a 15-year-old freshman at Sulphur High School in Sulphur, LA! I am managing my participation in FFA, Tors with a Purpose, AASC, NHSRA, and CHSR! Additionally, I’ve qualified for the NHSFR in Rock Springs, WY, in both Cutting and Reined Cow Horse events.

Hi, I’m McKenzie Corvin. I’m a joyful, driven, and creative person who is passionate about sharing stories and making a difference. I love connecting with people, finding meaning in small things, and using my voice to highlight what matters. Whether I’m handling a big assignment, keeping up with deadlines, or bringing ideas to life, I always put my heart into it. I’m excited to apply for the NYCHA Reporter Program because I know it will challenge me, help me grow, and give me the chance to do what I love most: tell stories that inspire, inform, and bring people together. My goals are to gain more people skills, help others and get other kids into cutting! Thank you.
