Hey NYCHA! I am Brea Collier, the 2023-24 Senior President. I am a 16 year old junior attending Bridgeland High School in Cypress, TX. Serving on the leadership team for the past 6 years has been my pleasure! My roles have ranged from the Area 10 Director to the Senior President and almost every position in between. Experiencing the association from so many different shoes has allowed me to have a greater perception on how this program operates and what it takes to be successful. While I am very active on the government side of the program, I am just as active in the show pen. I have qualified for 5 NYCHA World Finals and 2 NCHA World Finals. I enjoy hauling all over the United States to see new places and meet new people! When I am not on a horse, you can find me participating in FFA and choir through my school. I am thrilled about serving alongside my team this year, and my number one goal is that everyone feels welcome and finds their purpose within NYCHA. If you ever see me around in person, wish to talk via technology, or have any questions at all, please feel free to stop and talk to me. Good luck to everyone this year!
Hello, my name is Mica Collins I'm 14 years old and from Washington Texas. I am the 2023-2024 senior secretary/treasurer for the NYCHA. I have been showing cutting horses in the NCHA for about 8 years and have held an officer position for the past 3 years. I'm currently the 2nd vice president of my 4-H club. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends and baking. My favorite subject in school is Science. After I graduate, I hope to attend Texas A&M and pursue becoming an anesthesiologist. I would like to continue to show horses after college. I am so excited to be a NYCHA officer again this year and I wish everyone the best of luck for the rest of the hauling year!
Hello! My name is Annie Kate White and I am your 2023/2024 NYCHA Senior Reporter. I’m from Philadelphia, Mississippi and am a Sophomore at Leake Academy. I have been showing cutting horses in the NCHA for the past 4 years and have served as an officer for the past 3 years. When I’m not in the cutting pen, I enjoy cheering, gymnastics and spending time with family and friends. I’m a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Beta Club. After graduation, I plan to continue my education at Mississippi State University and follow in my fathers footsteps with a career in Real Estate and Construction. I am blessed to be serving a second year as your reporter and want to wish everyone a successful and fun hauling year.
